The Lightbox Collection- The Bigger Picture

The Lightbox Series presents six sequential frames from a single photographic session by Gavin Evans — a format that makes visible the arc of the sitting rather than isolating one decisive moment. Each print spans the full session, showing how expression, posture, and presence shift across the sequence. This is The Bigger Picture.

All Lightbox prints are A2 open edition giclées, measuring 420 × 594 mm (16.5 × 23.4 in) — a format designed for display. Printed from the original master file on 308 gsm satin matte cotton rag, acid and lignin-free. Supplied unframed. Embossed with Gavin Evans' open edition stamp.

The archive spans thirty years of portrait commissions — musicians, filmmakers, artists, and cultural figures — photographed for publications including Time Out, Esquire, Elle, The New York Times, and Premiere. All works are camera-originated. No generative AI has been used in the creation of any image in this collection.
