Iggy Pop Lightbox #7 by Gavin Evans, 1996
Photographed in London, 1996 for Time Out magazine, this A2 Lightbox print presents a six-frame colour studio portrait sequence of Iggy Pop, styled by Judy Blame.
Set against a black background, this series captures the Iggy in the act of removing a top covered in Bandaids. The removal is presented frame-by-frame, revealing not only Iggy’s physicality but the performative and confrontational edge that defined the session.
Part of The Lightbox Series – The Bigger Picture, the work highlights the subject-photographer dynamic and the shift in presence across a controlled studio session.
Printed as an A2 open edition giclée on 308 gsm satin matte cotton rag paper, acid and lignin-free, and embossed with Gavin Evans’ Open Edition stamp. Supplied unframed, ready for personal presentation and framing.
