This A2 lightbox fine art photography print by Gavin Evans comprises six black and white close-up studio portraits of Jarman — nude, the frame tight to his face and upper body, and made the year before his death in February 1994. Filmmaker, painter, and activist, Jarman was one of the most uncompromising figures in British cultural life of the twentieth century; his films — Sebastiane (1976), Jubilee (1978), Caravaggio (1986), and Blue (1993) — remain a foundational reference in queer visual culture.
