The Iggy Pop Lightbox Collection

The Iggy Pop Lightbox Collection presents A2 fine art photography prints from the landmark 1996 session by Gavin Evans — commissioned for the covers of both Time Out London and Time Out New York. The 40-minute sitting produced the complete body of work subsequently published in Biopic: Iggy Pop by Gavin Evans (Canongate Books, Edinburgh, 2003). Each lightbox print presents six sequential frames from the same session, styled by Judy Blame — crow feathers, a profanity-print shirt, fishnet stockings, and a top covered in Band-Aids, a direct reference to the self-inflicted injuries that marked Iggy's early performances with The Stooges. The collection includes both black and white and colour sequences, shot against white and black backgrounds, and documents Iggy Pop in stillness, in dance, and in the act of removing the Band-Aid top frame by frame.

All Iggy Pop lightbox prints are A2 open edition giclée prints, measuring 420 × 594 mm (16.5 × 23.4 in) — a format designed for display. Printed from the original master file on 308 gsm satin matte cotton rag, acid and lignin-free. Supplied unframed. Embossed with Gavin Evans' open edition stamp.
