In this studio portrait, Iggy Pop appears bare-chested, adorned with a cascade of crow feathers. Photographed by Gavin Evans in 1996 and styled by Judy Blame, the image fuses punk god and Native American homage.

This image was taken during the now-legendary 40-minute session that produced covers for Time Out London and New York, later expanded into the Canongate-published biopic-iggy pop.
