This fine art photography print by Gavin Evans presents a colour studio portrait of Bowie from David Bowie — The Session — the shushing pose set against a white background. The high contrast of this particular frame has made it a reference image for street artists and muralists worldwide. The session was made with Brian Eno present and produced the shushing image that appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Paris Match, and Esquire, was selected by Bowie himself for the cover and final page of the V&A exhibition publication Bowie Is (2012), featured on Sotheby's auction catalogues, used by the Recording Academy at the 2017 Grammy Awards, and continues to be used in the promotion of Lazarus, Bowie's final theatrical work, which premiered in New York in 2015.
