UK Customers — ThePrintRoom.Berlin
Since the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union, goods shipped from the EU to the UK are subject to import charges on arrival. This page explains what to expect when ordering from ThePrintRoom.Berlin.
What you will pay
Your print will be shipped from Berlin. On arrival in the UK, the shipment will be subject to UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%, collected by HMRC. Prints valued under £135 are subject to UK VAT only — no additional customs duty applies at this threshold. For orders above £135, additional customs duties or carrier handling fees may also apply.
Our shipping terms
ThePrintRoom.Berlin ships to the UK on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis, also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). We arrange shipping to the UK — shipping costs are shown at checkout. All import charges on arrival — including VAT, duties, and any carrier handling fees — are the responsibility of the buyer and are payable on delivery or collection.
These charges are set by HMRC, not by ThePrintRoom.Berlin, and we are unable to predict the exact amount. We recommend checking the links below before placing your order.
