Iggy Pop, American singer, songwriter, musician, actor and radio presenter known for his influential contributions to punk rock and alternative music. Iggy rose to prominence as the lead vocalist and frontman of the seminal rock band The Stooges. In 1996 Gavin was commissioned to shoot Iggy for the covers of Time Out London and New York magazines. The iconic portraits from the 40 minute session went on to become the book biopic- iggy pop published by Canongate Publishing.
