Iggy in Berlin

Berlin was crucial to Iggy Pop's career and personal life. In the late 1970's. Iggy relocated to Berlin, seeking a change of scenery and a reprieve from the chaotic lifestyle of his earlier years. The city's vibrant underground scene provided an ideal environment for artistic exploration and reinvention. During his time in Berlin, Iggy collaborated with David Bowie, who also resided here at the time, resulting in the creation of two seminal albums: "The Idiot" (1977) and "Lust for Life" (1977).

Berlin offered Iggy a sense of freedom and anonymity, allowing him to focus on his music and personal growth away from the spotlight. Overall, Berlin played a pivotal role in Iggy Pop's artistic evolution and remains an essential chapter in his remarkable career.
